Presented by the SPOMA Committee, this Juneteenth celebration for Walden and Montgomery will include family activities, face painting, dancing, and free food! Volunteers from the Middletown NAACP will provide voter registration and spread the word about our revitalized branch.
The SPOMA (Sacred Place Of My Ancestors) Committee cares for and supports the revitalization of the earliest-known African American burial ground in Orange County, located in the Town of Montgomery.
