New job opportunities in K-12 schools

Our area schools need more diverse staff with more representation of Black teachers and administrators. To help work toward that goal, our Education Committee is sharing open job opportunities in schools in our region. You can find a full list below.

OLAS (New York State’s Online Application System) makes applying for these jobs simple. You can create a single application and submit it for multiple opportunities. Many of the jobs listed have application deadlines of August 31, but we encourage you to apply as soon as you can.

Middletown School District is seeking:

  • Teachers of social studies, art, earth science, physical education, and other subjects
  • A dean of students
  • An elementary bilingual educator
  • Home instructors

Pine Bush School District is seeking:

  • A Spanish teacher
  • An elementary teacher

Valley Central School District is seeking:

  • An English teacher, and an English-to-Speakers-of-Other-Languages teacher
  • A technology teacher
  • A students with disabilities teacher with English for grades 7-12

Warwick School District is seeking:

  • A family and consumer science teacher
  • An earth science teacher
